Planning and preproduction

The first steps of planning my film was by looking at the theme I would chose for my final major project. With choosing such a big theme as stereotypes on today youth.

 

Project action plan and timetable:
These provide an opportunity to outline the sequence of actions necessary to progress the project over a period of weeks so that it may be brought to a successful conclusion within the agreed timeframe. It is important that you consider how you will balance ambition, time and realism in the organisation and realisation of the project.

1 week	Ideas I’m going to be coming up with three ideas and look at what are the best choices for my short film to work and have the best outcome.	Looking at different themes, different music, different films, and different styles. But from looking at these themes, Etc. I will try and make my own style to the short film.
2 week	Final Ideas After I get feedback from friends, family and my teachers I will decide on my final idea for my short film and begin to start writing my brief.	Ask my friends, family and teachers about what they think about my idea and get feedback from them to change it and make it better.
3 week	Write the brief In the brief I will be looking at all my feedback and decide on which idea is the best for my short film to have the best outcome.	Look at all the feedback and starting working on ideas. I will need to finalise on my ideas and start working on my film idea.
4 week	ResearchI will look at different actors, different locations and different ways I can make the short film work. I also need to research all the essential parts to my sure my film works.	I will need to go out and find the right choice of locations. Also look at who will actor in my film.
5 week	PlanningI will plan the essential parts of filming such as location scouting, budget, actors and how long it will take to edit and film.	I will need to work on storyboards, script and planning all my shots
6 week	FilmingI will be filming on two days maybe two and half or three days. First week I will be filming my short and having a chance of over looking at the footage.	I will need to look at what shots I need to and make sure be prepared for my short film
7 week	Filming The second week of filming will be the final parts and a look over from the first week to make sure I don’t have any mistakes from the first week of filming.	I will need to look at what shots I need to and make sure be prepared for my short film
8 week	Editing I will be editing my film after I have look at all the footage from filming and decide Im ready to start editing my film.	I will need to set a lot of time for my edit as I need to take in consideration.color,sound,techqiues, titles and effects.
9 week	Uploading and getting feedbackAfter I have finished my 1st draft of my edit I will look at different ways I can make my film better or worse and make the right adjuments to my film for it to be perfect and ready for my teachers to evaluate	After getting feedback, make the final changes to make sure the work and edit is at the best it could be.
10 week	Evaluation After I get feedback from my 1st draft and I will	Evaluate all my work and make sure its to the best standard
